She attended Mumbai’s The J. B. Vachha High School for Parsi Girls for her elementary through high school education. She attended the Sir Jamsetjee Jeejeebhoy School of Art in Mumbai for her pre-university education. Her new husband took her to the United States, where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts: Radio & Television and her associate degree in Media Management. She was employed by the American Broadcasting Company to read the news.

Zareena Moidu gave birth to Nadiya Moidu on Monday, October 24, 1966, in the Sion neighborhood of Mumbai. Her father, N. K. Moidu, is a Muslim from the town of Thalassery in the state of Kerala, and she herself is of Malayali descent. Lalitha’s mother is a devout Hindu from Kerala’s Pathanamthitta district, where she was born. There is a sibling that is younger than her. In 1989, Nadiya Moidu wed Shirish Godbole. Her husband used to work for the FED as its top consultant. Their names for their girls are Sanam and Jana.

Nadiya Moidu Career

First appearing in the 1984 Malayalam film “Nokkethadhoorathu Kannum Nattu” starring Mohanlal and Padmini, Nadiya Moidu quickly became a fan favorite. She first appeared in public in 1985, in the remade Tamil film Poove Poochudava (originally titled Nokkethadhoorathu Kannum Nattu). With the 1988 film Bazaar Rowdy, she debuted in the Telugu language. After relocating to the United States, she appeared in a slew of films under the stipulation that filming is wrapped before the end of her vacation. Under the same terms, she appeared in the Tamil films “Chinna Madam” (1994) and “Rajakumaran” (1994). She then took a nearly decade-long hiatus from acting until returning in the 2004 Tamil film “M. Kumaran Son of Mahalakshmi.”
Moidu has appeared in movies primarily in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam, as well as one Indian English-language film titled “Wonder Women” (2020; available on SonyLIV).

The Tamil movies “Nilave Malare” (1986) and “Anbulla Appa” (1987), the Telugu movies “Attarintiki Daredi” (2013) and “Ghani” (2022), and the Malayalam movie “Bheeshma Parvam” (1996) are some of her most well-known works (2022).
