Naveen Babu Ghanta, better known as Nani, was born in India on February 24, 1984. He has worked as an actor, producer, and media personality. Prior to his role as radio host on the World Space Satellite in Hyderabad, he served as an assistant director with such notable names as Srinu Vaitla and Bapu.

NANI is a native of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He attended St. Alphonsa High School and subsequently Narayana Junior College in S.R Nagar before completing his degree at Wesley.

Nani Early Life

Nani “became addicted” to cinema as a college student, with Mani Ratnam being a key influence. His distant relative, the film’s producer Anil, gave Nani an opportunity to gain experience in the industry by hiring him on as a “clap director” on Radha Gopalam, directing by Bapu. He went on to star in and work on films like Allari Bullodu, Dhee, and Astrum. A film script was the focus of Nani’s break. A mutual friend, radio DJ Nandini Reddy, gave Nani a job at World Space Satellite.

He took the job and hosted the programme Non-Stop Nani for a year. Mohan Krishna Indraganti, the film’s director, saw Nani in a billboard and cast him as one of the leads opposite Swati Reddy in the movie Ashta Chamma. Both moviegoers and critics praised the film for its quality. After that, he became a fixture in the Telugu film industry, starring in a number of films. The 2008 film “Astha Chamma,” in which Naveen made his acting debut, was directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti and was a commercial success.
