Nazriya Nazim Education
She attended Christ Nagar School in Thiruvananthapuram and Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in Trivandrum, in addition to Our Own English High School in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. She enrolled at Mar Ivanios College in Thiruvananthapuram in 2013, but she reportedly had to drop out due to her busy filming schedule.

Nazimuddeen and Begum Beena have a daughter they named Nazriya. Naveen Nazim, her sibling, is her brother. Her ancestors are from the United Arab Emirates, and before they relocated to Thiruvananthapuram they called Al Ain home.
Fahadh Faasil, an actor in Malayalam films, announced his engagement to Nazriya in the press in January 2014. During their time on the set of Anjali Menon’s Bangalore Days (2014), in which they played husband and wife, the two actors grew close to one another. The parents of both Fahadh and Nazriya were instrumental in setting up the wedding. They were engaged in February of that year, and were married on August 21 of that year in Thiruvananthapuram.
Nazriya Nazim Career
In 2005, Nazriya began her career as an anchor on Kairali TV’s Punyamaasathiloode, a television quiz show with a Muslim focus.
Her acting career began in 2006, when she was cast as Mammootty’s daughter in the Malayalam film Palunku (2006), directed by Blessy. She then became a host on the hit Asianet music competition show Munch Star Singer. Her next film role was as Sreenivasan’s daughter Dhanya in the Mohanlal-starring Oru Naal Varum (2010). Sony Music Entertainment featured her and Nivin Pauly on their hit album Yuvvh, which was a huge hit with the younger generation.
When the Malayalam film Maad Dad came along, Nazriya was able to secure her first main part (2013). Neram, a romantic comedy thriller shot in both Tamil and Malayalam, reunited her with Yuvvh’s director Alphonse Putharen and star Nivin Pauly. The film was a smash hit, and its central duo received positive reviews and widespread acclaim. Filmgoers everywhere hold the scene in which Nivin proposes to Nazriya in the highest regard. For her performance in Neram, she was nominated for and won the Vijay Award for Best Debut Actress. Next, she was Keerthana, an IT specialist, in Raja Rani. According to Hindustan Times’ Gautaman Bhaskaran, “the one person who attracted my attention was Nazriya Nazim, who as Arya’s lover Keerthana is breathtakingly stunning with a face that is so expressive that we do not need her to talk.” In the film Naiyaandi, which was released afterward, she played a dentist.
Her film debut was in 2014’s Salalah Mobiles, which although boasting an all-star ensemble (including Dulquer Salmaan) ultimately bombed. They finished shooting her role as a Tamil Iyengar girl in the film Thirumanam Enum Nikkah. She then appeared in Ohm Shanthi Oshaana, a Malayalam film in which she co-starred with Nivin Pauly. As a result of its success, the film ran for 50 consecutive days in nearly every theatre.
After Bangalore Days and Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram, she appeared in the Malayalam films Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah and Vaayai Moodi Pesavum and the Tamil films Vaayai Moodi Pesavum and Vaayai In October 2013, Nazriya was cast as the lead in Nee Nalla Varuvada. Kajal Aggarwal, however, was hired in March of 2014 to take Nazriya’s place. The 45th Annual Kerala State Film Awards named her best actress.
After taking a sabbatical from acting after her marriage to Fahadh Faasil, Nazriya returned with the Prithviraj-starring, Anjali Menon flick Koode. After an interlude of one year, the couple made their acting debut together in the 2020 film Trance, in which she also had a supporting role with her husband. Ante Sundaraniki, starring her and Nani, was her first film in the Telugu language, released that year (2022).
