Nimisha attended Carmel Convent School in Mumbai and went on to earn her degree from KJ Somaiya College in the same city.

Nimisha Sajayan Early Life

Nimisha’s parents, an engineer and a nurse from the Kollam district of Kerala, respectively, had her in Bombay. Her mom’s family is from Kollam, and specifically the Punalur neighbourhood.  She is a Taekwondo black belt. In Taekwondo, she competed on behalf of Maharashtra at the national level. When she was in eighth grade, she earned the rank of black belt.

Nimisha Sajayan Career

Nimisha made her acting debut in Dileesh Pothan’s movie Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum. She gave life to Sreeja, the film’s protagonist. After that, she starred as the editor in B. Ajithk Rajeev Ravi. For the 2019 films Oru Kuprasidha Payyan directed by Madhupal and Chola directed by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, she was awarded the 49th Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress.

She was renowned for her role in Chola. Premieres were held at a number of foreign film festivals. She has a pivotal part in 2021’s The Great Indian Kitchen. She portrayed a newlywed woman who finds it difficult to conform to her husband and his family’s traditional role for a wife.

The film and her performance in it both received rave reviews. She had breakout performances in both Nayattu and Malik that same year. The two films received overwhelmingly positive reviews. Thuramukham and Oru Thekkan Thallu Case are two of her forthcoming films.
