There is not much information available regarding the educational qualifications of Ravi Shankar, we will update the details as soon as we have any relevant information about the same.

P. Ravi Shankar Early Life

Originally from India, P. Ravi Shankar spent his formative years in the city of Chennai. In films like Sri Krishna Garudi and Makkala Rajya, Ravi Shankar’s mother Krishna Jyothy Pudipeddi starred alongside Kannada thespian Dr. Rajkumar. Pudipeddi Jogeswara Sharma, Ravi Shankar’s father, was himself an actor and dubbing artist who appeared in a number of films in the Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil film industries. Pudipeddi Sai Kumar, his older sibling, began his career in the film industry as a dubbing artist before transitioning to acting in Kannada films.

Ravishankar revealed in 2018 that he would be launching his son Adhvey as an actor in his own directorial film in Kannada. Shankar is married to the Punjabi woman Suchil, and the couple has a son named Adhvey.

P. Ravi Shankar Career

Both Ravi Shankar and his brother, the well-known actor Sai Kumar, have the captivating and majestic voice that made their father, the well-known dubbing artist P.J.Sharma, so successful.

In the late 1980s, Ravi Shankar made his acting debut in films like Madhuranagarilo (in which he portrays one of the four youthful protagonists), but he is better known for his work as a dubbing artist than as an actor. Some of the prominent names he has spoken for are Prakash Raj, Raghuvaran, Ashish Vidyarthi, Ashutosh Rana, Nassar, Sonu Sood, and Mukesh Rishi. He became known as “Bommali Ravishankar” for his work as Sonu Sood’s voice actor in the critically acclaimed supernatural film Arundhati, directed by Kodi Rama Krishna.

Ravi Shankar earned a total of seven Nandi Awards for his work as a dubbing artist. Along with that, he has received the Filmfare award and the Tamilnadu state film award for his dubbing.

Recently, Ravi Shankar has been typecast as the villain in the vast majority of South Indian films. His portrayal of the antagonist in both the Telugu film Ramayya Vastavayya and the Kannada film Huchudugaru received widespread critical acclaim.

But Ravi Shankar’s adaptability doesn’t stop there. He is also known for the songs he sung in Raktha Charithra and Bejawada, and he has written dialogue for almost 250 films (both, intense gangster films by Ram Gopal Varma). Ravi Shankar’s unique and magnificent talents will be remembered for years to come for his many contributions to the realm of southern cinema.
