She got her education at Kendriya Vidyalaya Trimulgherry in the city of Secunderabad in the Indian state of Telangana. Padmapriya attended Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University in Hyderabad, Telangana, in 1997 to earn a diploma in Bharatnatyam, a significant genre of Indian classical dance. Padmapriya attended Loyola Academy in Alwal, Secunderabad, Telangana from 1997 to 2000, where she earned a Bachelor of Commerce. She received her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in finance and marketing from the Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies (KIAMS) in Harihar, Karnataka, back in the year 2000. Padmapriya studied international treaties and the Indian Environmental Protection Act at the National Law School of India University in Bengaluru, Karnataka (2007-2008). Padmapriya Janakiraman made her acting debut in the Telugu tragedy drama film “Seenu Vasanthi Lakshmi,” released in 2004. In the movie, Padmapriya played the role of ‘Vasanthi.’
Padmapriya also appeared in films like “Andari Bandhuvaya” (2010) and “Patel S. I. R.” (2009), both of which were in the Telugu language. The 2004 film “Kaazhcha” marked Padmapriya Janakiraman’s first role in the Malayalam cinema industry (also known as “Mollywood”). Padmapriya portrayed the film’s Lakshmi.
