The romantic comedy “Tanu Weds Manu,” in which he starred, was released in 2011. He received a lot of praise for his role in the picture, which was a commercial success. So he stopped acting for a while, and three years later he was back on the big screen. He played Manoj ‘Manu’ Sharma in the sequel to “Tanu Weds Manu” in 2015.
