On Friday, November 15, 1957, R. Parthiban was born as Radhakrishnan Parthiban; his parents’ names are unknown. Radhakrishnan Parthiban wed Seetha in 1990; he has a brother by the name of Babu. Three kids total—two daughters, Abhinaya and Keerthana, and an adopted son, Raakhi—were born to the couple.

In 1981, R. Parthiban began making appearances in Tamil movies. Ranuva Veeran was the actor’s debut movie. In 1984’s Dhavani Kanavugal, which starred him as a postman, he had his next commercially successful movie. R. Parthiban, Suman Ranganathan, and Mohini, two South Indian actresses, were all cast in the 1992 movie Unnai Vaazhthi Paadugiren alongside him. He made an appearance in the comedy Tata Birla in 1999.
