Rachita Ram, originally named Bindhiya Ram, was born on 3 October 1992 (age 29 as of 2021) in Bengaluru, Karnataka. She is a Libra. She has had professional Bharatanatyam training.
Rachita was raised in a Hindu household. Her dad’s name is K.S. As a Bharatanatyam dancer, Ramu performed over 500 times for paying audiences. Also an actor, her sister’s name is Nithya Ram. She attended Niveditha Girls High School in Gavipuram, Bengaluru for her high school education.

She beat out 200 other hopefuls in 2012 for the lead role in Bulbul. Prior to it, she co-starred with her sister Nithya Ram in the Kannada soap opera Benkiyalli Aralida Hoovu. It was her on-screen pairing with Darshan that helped propel the movie to box office triumph. According to G. Her 2014 debut film, Dil Rangeela, starred her opposite Ganesh, and was praised by critics like S. Kumar of The Times of India, who said, “Rachita Ram has presented an excellent performance in her first movie” and “Rachita Ram is amazing with her dialogue delivery, body language, and excellent expressions.” The Deccan Herald’s B. S. Srivani thought she “delivered a seasoned performance” in the film. Again opposite Darshan, she appeared in Ambareesha, her second release of the year. Critics were not kind to either the film or her performance in it. She played Sudeep’s love interest Rukmini in Ranna, a supporting yet crucial part. She made an appearance in Rathavara as the female counterpart to Sriimurali’s gangster/key aide to an MLA character. “Rachita Ram looks adorable and has acted every bit the cutesy girl-next-door that is expected of her,” Sunayana Suresh of The Times of India said.
Chakravyuha, a 2016 Kannada film in which Rachita featured alongside Puneeth Rajkumar, was released that year. On the set of Jaggu Dada Starring Darshan, she had a small part. In Mukunda Murari, she shared a song with Sudeep.
In 2017, Rachita made her debut alongside Ramesh Aravind in Pushpaka Vimana, in which she played Ramesh Aravind’s daughter. Bharjari, directed by Chethan Kumar and costarring Dhruva Sarja, was her next film, and it was her second collaboration with actress Haripriya following Ranna.

In the following year’s Shankar film, Love You Rachchu, she co-starred with Ajay Rao to much critical acclaim but a dismal box office performance. Super Machi, the 2022 Telugu film in which she starred opposite Kalyan Dev, was not only a box office failure, but also the least collected film of the actress’s career.
