The first Hindi feature film by Raj and DK was 99, a crime comedy/thriller/historical fiction hybrid set in Mumbai and Delhi. Shor in the City, their next film, was recognised as the best Hindi film of the year. It has been praised highly by numerous publications. A few years later, they came back with Go Goa Gone, a pioneering film that crossed multiple genres and was the first of its kind in India. It was a satire on stoner culture with elements of horror. A cult following emerged, especially among the younger generation.
D2R Indie was formed in 2021 as a division of the parent corporation with the express purpose of producing independent films.
