After graduating from Kendriya Vidyalaya in Jaipur, he studied chemistry at St. Xavier’s College in nearby Ahmedabad.
Rajeev Khandelwal Early Life
On October 16, 1975 (he is currently 43 years old) in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, Rajeev Khandelwal entered the world. When Khandelwal was in third grade, he participated in a theatre production. This sparked a passion in acting in him.
In the ninth grade, Rajeev auditioned for Punjab Doordarshan and was eventually hired. Due to the 3-month outdoor shoot and his father’s disapproval, he was unable to appear in the show.
The Khandelwal family, of which Rajeev is a member, is Marwari. Military veteran Col. C.L. Khandelwal and Vijayalaxmi Khandelwal are his parents. He is the second of two brothers; his older sibling is named Rahul, while his younger sibling is named Sanjeev. Rajeev does not believe in any gods or higher power.
A daughter named Swati was adopted by Rajeev in 2007 from the Muskaan orphanage. Khandelwal wed his longtime sweetheart Manjiri Kamtikar on February 7, 2011. The ceremony was an Arya Samaj one.
Rajeev Khandelwal Career
For his first TV role, Rajeev appeared in the 1998 episode of DD National’s Banphool. In 2002, he appeared on the show Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat in a negative role.
Rajeev tried out for the show Kahiin To Hoga, which was created and is hosted by Ekta Kapoor, in 2003. After 4 days of auditioning, he was cast as Sujal Garewal. This was his first time playing the main character. Later, in “Time Bomb 9/11,” he appeared in the role of a RAW field officer. The actor has also been seen on “sun Leyna” (2006) and “Left Right Left” (2007).
His first film in the Bollywood industry was 2008’s Aamir. For his career, this film was a watershed moment. In addition, he has made appearances in films such as Shaitan (2011), Soundtrack (2011), Table No.21 (2013), and Samrat & Co. (2015).
Rajeev has hosted a number of reality shows, including Deal Ya No Deal, Super Cars, Sacch Ka Saamna, and My Endeavour, in addition to his acting career. Rajeev returned to television in 2015 on the Sony TV show Reporters.
