Ranbir Kapoor Education
He graduated with a degree in economics and commerce from Mumbai’s H.R. College. Later, he relocated to New York City’s ‘School of Visual Arts’ to complete a filmmaking programme there. He then enrolled at New York’s ‘Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute’ to study acting.
Ranbir Kapoor Early Life
Originally from Mumbai, Ranbir was born on September 28, 1982. He is currently 39 years old (Maharashtra). He attended the prestigious “Bombay Scottish School” in Mumbai for his formal education. He was a district-level football player back when he was in high school. He is currently involved in professional football as a co-owner of the Mumbai City FC of the Indian Super League.
His father Rishi Kapoor is an actor, his mother Neetu Singh is an actress, and his grandpa Raj Kapoor was a great hero and an outstanding producer and director of Indian Cinema, therefore it’s safe to say that Ranbir comes from a talented family in the film industry. His paternal aunt and uncle, famous actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita Shivdasani, are his role models. His cousins are the actresses Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor. Riddhima Kapoor is his sister.
During the 2018 production of Brahmastra, he began dating Alia Bhatt. The pair wed on April 14, 2022, in a small ceremony held in Mumbai’s Vastu building. Ranbir and Alia’s first child, a daughter, was born on November 6, 2022.

Before he became an actor, Ranbir worked as an assistant on the sets of the films Aa Ab Laut Chalen and Black, starring Rishi Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. ‘Saawariya,’ in which he made his acting debut, was only moderately successful at the box office.
In 2017, Ranbir produced his debut feature film, Jagga Jasoos, which critics have called a departure for the Indian film business. His outstanding work in Bollywood earned him several Filmfare Awards, including Best Male Debut for ‘Saawariya’ (2008), Best Actor (Critics) for ‘Wake Up Sid,’ and Best Actor for ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.
