Sasural Simar Ka Story
Both Simar and Roli are Vrindavan natives, and their stories intertwine throughout the novel. Simar wants to be a dancer, but her parents don’t support her goal. As a result, Simar will soon be wed to Prem Bharadwaj, a successful businessman, and affluent groom. Simar is forced to enter a dancing contest on the day of his wedding, and Roli stands in for him. But as Simar is running late, Prem and a dressed-up Roli end up being married. Problems arise when Simar and Prem fall in love, because of this. Siddhant, Prem’s exiled brother, walks back in. Simar-Prem and Roli-Siddhant finally tie the knot after a tumultuous courtship. Simar and Roli are eventually welcomed into the Bharadwaj family.
