Madhu Shah, a fashion designer, has been Satish Shah’s wife since 1982. Shah received a COVID-19 diagnosis in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was hospitalized to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on July 20 and was later released on July 28 after making a complete recovery.

He portrayed 55 different characters in 55 episodes of the 1984 sitcom Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, which was helmed by Kundan Shah and Manjul Sinha, and he played the part of Prakash in 50 episodes of the 1995 television series Filmy Chakkar on Zee TV. Additionally, he played Indravadhan Sarabhai in the hit television series Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai, which debuted in 2004.
