Shekar Chandra Early Life
Shekar Chandra grew up in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. His father, cinematographer Hari Anumolu, worked in several popular Telugu films, like Ladies Tailor, Shri Kanakamalaxmi Recording Dance Troupe, Nuvve Kavali, Gamyam, etc. When his work in Amaravathi was noticed, Shekar Chandra was given his big break in the Telugu cinema business. As time went on, he appeared in films like Abbai Class Ammai Mass, Boochamma Boochodu, Nanna Nenu Naa Boyfriends, and Howrah Bridge.
Shekar Chandra Career
Shekar Chandra, son of legendary Tollywood cinematographer Hari Anumolu, made his directorial debut with the score to the 2007 Telugu film Anasuya. More than 25 films have used his musical compositions since then, including the crime drama Amaravati (2009), the comedy Brother of Bommali (2012), and the action picture Avunu (2012). (2014). Notable works by Shekar from the past few years include the romantic drama Howrah Bridge (2018), the romantic comedy Subrahmanyapuram (2017), and the comedic thriller Andhhagadu (2017). Naaga Prabhakkar directed his upcoming film Sivaranjani.
