Sukumar Early Life
Sukumar Bandreddi was born on January 11, 1970, a Sunday, in Mattaparru, Andhra Pradesh’s East Godavari district. Tirupathi Naidu, Sukumar’s father, was a rice dealer, and Veera Veni, his mother, was a housewife. On June 13, 2009, Sukumar wed Thabitha Sukumar. He has two youngsters. Sukranth Bandreddi is the name of his son, while Sukriti Bandreddi is the name of his daughter.
Sukumar Career
An Indian director, producer, and screenwriter by the name of Sukumar is most recognized for his work on Telugu movies. He rose to fame as the writer and director of the film “Arya” (2004). The Telugu films Jagadam (2007), 100% Love (2011), 1: Nenokkadine (2014), Nannaku Prematho (2016), and Pushpa: The Rise feature his direction and writing (2021).
He produced the Telugu movies Uppena, Darsakudu, and 100% Kadhal, among others. Under his own production company, Sukumar Writings, he makes movies. Sukumar previously worked as a math and physics instructor at the Aditya Junior College in Kakinada. Six years were spent working as a lecturer before he began his film career. He started out in the movie business as a writer and big director’s assistant. He first encountered Thabitha while his first film, “Arya,” was being screened. They later got married, however, Thabitha’s parents did not approve of the union at the time.
In an interview, he discussed his film “Pushpa,” saying that at first, he considered making it a web series, but that he ultimately opted to make it a film after conducting the extensive study. Sukumar was given a dengue diagnosis in June 2021, which caused the production of his movie “Pushpa” to be postponed.
“Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1,” directed by Sukumar, was released in 2021. The movie had released in five additional languages and was a success. In the first week following its release, the film generated about Rs. 128 crores in international box office revenue. The movie “Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1” also made history by becoming the eighth Telugu movie to make such a significant sum in its first week of release.
