Supriya Pathak, daughter of Dina and Baldev Pathak, was born on January 7th, 1961. Her mother, Dina Pathak, was an actress and theatre artist in Gujarat, and her father, Baldev Pathak, was a tailor for Bollywood actors like Rajesh Khanna and Dilip Kumar. She is the younger sister of Ratna Pathak, who is also a performer and actor in the arts industry.
Supriya Pathak wed a friend of her mother’s, the son of a mutual acquaintance. A year later, however, they were no longer together. The two met in 1986 on the set of Sagar Sarhadi’s Agla Mausam, and have been married ever since. They were together for two years before getting married in 1988, and they have two children, a daughter named Sanah Kapoor and a son named Ruhaan Kapoor.
