Actress and dancer Surveen Chawla has appeared in films in Hindi, Punjabi, and Tamil. On August 1, 1984, she entered the world in the city of Chandigarh, India. She and her mother have a clothing label called Contemporary Dupatta, and she takes great pride in her attention to fashion. Not only did she find success in Punjabi and Hindi films, but also in Tamil, Telegu, and Kannada. Neither cheese nor butter are foods she particularly enjoys. She was once urged to make concessions in exchange for a major role, but she refused the offer and stood up to the casting couch.

‘Kahiin to Hoga’ was the first serial she appeared in when she began her acting career on Hindi television in 2003. Next, she was seen in shows like Kasautii Zindagi Kay (2005-06), Kaajjal (2006-07), 24 (2016-17), Teen Pehliiyan (2018-19), Sacred Games (2018-19), and Decoupled (2019).
In 2008, with the film Paramesha Panwala, she entered the Kannada film industry. Following her success in Bollywood, she made her debut in Tollywood with Raju Maharaju (2009) and in the Punjabi film industry with Dharti (2011).
Later, in 2011, she made her Bollywood debut in the film Hum Tum Shabana. She first appeared on screen in the 2013 film Moondru Per Moondru Kadal, marking the beginning of her career in Tamil cinema. Afterward, she began appearing in films across multiple languages, eventually appearing in over fifteen films across Punjabi, Tamil, and Hindi.
