A few years ago, if a movie received a good response in any other language, makers used to remake it in other languages, but these days OTT platforms are remaking their own original movies and series into other languages, just like “Varam.”
This series is an official remake of the Hindi series “Taaza Khabar.” As this Hindi series received great response in all languages already, let’s see how this Telugu remake can grab the attention that is all set to premiere on the JioHotstar platform on October 22, 2026.
Aditya Mandala of ‘Hostel Days’ fame is directing this remake. Sushmitha Konidela is the producer. Sidharth Sadasivuni is the music composer, Fahad Abdul Majeeb is the cinematographer, and Siddesh Chowdary is the editor.
This Telugu version of this Hindi fantasy drama series stars Vishwadev Rachakonda in the lead role, with Srinivas Avasarala, Shivatmika Rajasekhar, Shivaji Raja, Surabhi Prabhavathi, Ramesh Konambhotla, Shurthy Jayan, and a few others in other prominent roles.
