Ajith starrer Vidaamuyarchi was supposed to be released this Sankranthi but due to unknown reasons, the film was postponed.
Vidaamuyarchi is billed to be an action drama and Ajith films are known for action. Vidaamuyarchi might hit the screens in February 2025.

Vidaamuyarchi‘s digital rights were bagged by Netflix, and the film will be available for streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
The film features Ajith Kumar, Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Aarav, Nikhil Nair, Dasarathi, Ganesh and others.
The film was helmed by Magizh Thirumeni, Om Prakash cranked the camera, Anirudh Ravichander composed the music, and Lyca Productions produced the film.
