Yodha movie digital rights were acquired by Prime Video and the movie hit the OTT space on 10 May 2024. Sidharth Malhotras’ upcoming movie is Yodha. The film shooting went on to the floor a few days ago. The film lead actor Sidharth Malhotra shared the film glimpse on his social media account Twitter. It’s being helmed jointly by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre while being bankrolled by Filmmaker Karan Johar. The film is said to be the first kind of movie in terms of action.  

The film was initially scheduled to release in November 2022, but due to some pending shoot and post-production work, the movie team has announced a new release date recently. As the release date of the movie has been announced by the makers, we can expect the teaser or glimpse of the movie very soon.

Production on the upcoming film Yodha, starring Bollywood superstar Sidharth Malhotra, has begun. This film is being produced by Karan Johar, who is also the director of other movies. Sagar Ambre and Puskar Ojha, both making their directorial debuts with this film, will helm the project. The director of the film has settled on the date of 15 March 2024 as the date the picture will debut in theatres.

Yodha Movie OTT Release Date

Yodha movie will be premiered on Prime Video on 10 May 2024. Raashi Khanna started her career as an actor with ‘Madras Cafe’ and later received many opportunities in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam movies. She will be appearing in a Hindi movie after almost 10 years gap. She was recently seen in the series ‘Rudra – The Edge of Darkness’ starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role. However, the series didn’t meet the expectations and failed to entertain the audience that was premiered on the Hotstar OTT platform.

Apart from Raashi Khanna, Disha Patani is also playing an important role in the film. Both Raashi Khanna and Disha Patani are pairing with Sidharth Malhotra for the first time on screen. Recently makers have announced the official release date of the movie as July 07, 2023. As the movie is releasing in theatres at the start of July, we can expect the OTT release of this movie by the end of August or in the month of September.

Sidharth Malhotra took 3 year of gap after the success of ‘Shershaah’ was premiered directly on Amazon Prime Video OTT platform and recently his movie ‘Thank God’ alongside Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh got released and failed to entertain the audience in theatres. After the failure of this movie, Sidharth once again opted for a direct digital release of his upcoming movie ‘Mission Majnu’ which will be premiered directly on the Netflix OTT platform. 

Yodha movie makers are working harder to complete the post-production work and taking more care of the VFX as the movie’s major part has VFX. As of now, the makers haven’t confirmed any details about the satellite rights and digital rights of the movie. Story: 

The plot of the film revolves around the hijacking of an airplane, during which a soldier comes to the aid of a passenger and helps them combat the terrorist. However, the damage that was done to the aircraft’s engine made it extremely difficult to survive the circumstances. How did the soldier show his heroic spirit to overcome such a situation and how did passengers on the flight manage to save themselves from the rest of the story?
