ZEE5 has been officially launched in the U.S., opening up a world of multicultural entertainment for the South Asian diaspora, with thousands of hours of South Asian content, is now available for streaming in America. The Best of ZEE5 Originals from India, Pakistan & Bangladesh currently streaming in USA for ZEE5 subscribers.
ZEE5 USA launch announcement was made by Archana Anand, Chief Business Officer, ZEE5 Global, at a mega event attended by media and consumers from the U.S. and across the globe. She was joined by a special guest for the event, Actor, Producer, Activist and Entrepreneur Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
ZEE5 US Launch: South Asia Entertainment in USA
We all know, ZEE5 is one of the prominent OTT platform in South Asia, owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, has now been launched in the United States of America. This OTT Streaming service is already available in other countries like the UK and the Middle East. Now, with the new move, Zee5 is taking all of its content to the US, which has about 5.4 million South Asian diaspora audiences.
The streaming service would provide about 130000+ hours of content including 1600+ TV shows, 3500+ movies, and 200+ Originals. It has content in about 18 languages like Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi, Punjabi, and more.
Alongside its entry into the USA, Zee5 also planning for a grand launch in Cannada in the coming days, Since Canada also hosts a huge population from India and Pakistan. On the other side, It is a know news that Zee5 is all set to release some of the biggest magnum opus releases from India i.e. SS Rajamouli’s RRR.
