Abhishek Kapoor did his primary education in Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai and later moved to Hassaram Rijhumal College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai to pursue bachelors in Commerce, but left the college without completing it.

Abhishek Kapoor Career
His first film appearance was opposite Twinkle Khanna in 1996’s “Uff! Yeh Mohabbat,” directed by Vipin Handa. The film failed to make it to the box office, and just when he thought his career was over, after acting in two more films, Ajay Kashyap’s Aashique Mastane and Bobby Raj’ ‘Shikaar’, he decided to pursue his passion to become a filmmaker.
In 2006, with the action drama Aryan: Unbreakable, he made his directorial debut. In 2008, he wrote and directed his most ambitious and groundbreaking film to date: Rock On!! Actor-turned-director Farhan Akhtar won multiple awards for his work in this film, including Best Feature Film at the National Film Awards and Best Story at the Filmfare Awards.
His 2013 drama buddy film Kai Po Che! was adapted on Chetan Bhagat’s The 3 Mistakes of My Life, and it was his first directorial effort in a long time. Because of this film, he became a legend in the Bollywood industry. After finishing the recently released romantic drama film “Fitoor,” in which Aditya Roy Kapur and Tabu feature, he will begin production on the first instalment of a film adaptation of the mythological epic The Mahabharata.
Abhishek has a reputation for frequently using unknown performers in his films. Since they aren’t aware of the flash and glamour, he thinks they can provide a more genuine and heartfelt performance. He’s also well-known for basing his films on well-liked literature. ‘Fitoor’ is based on Charles Dickens’s Great Expectations, whereas ‘Kai Po Che!’ is based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel. Abhishek is now focused on writing his screenplays, although he would consider returning to acting if an intriguing opportunity presented him.
