Ashutosh Rana Education
He grew up in Gadarwara, Narshingpur district, Madhya Pradesh, where he also completed elementary education. Graduate studies at Dr. Hari Singh Gaur University, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, were where he earned his degree.
Ashutosh Rana Early Life
On November 10, 1967, Rana entered the world. Gadarwara, Saugor Madhya Pradesh, is his hometown. Kasindra, a city in the Ahmedabad area of Gujarat state, was another location he visited. He used to portray Ravana in community Ramleela plays. He is related to Rameshwar Neekhra, who served as the member of parliament for Narmadapuram in the Lok Sabha twice and as the vice president of the Indian National Congress in his home state.
He attended New Delhi’s National School of Drama. His collaboration with Satyadev Dubey at the Prithvi Theatre spans numerous plays.
Rana is married to fellow Bollywood actress Renuka Shahane. They are the proud parents of Shauryaman and Satyendra.
Ashutosh Rana Career
His first appearance on TV was in the 1994 miniseries Tahqiqat, which marked the beginning of his career in front of the camera. In 1995’s Sanshodhan, he had his big screen debut as a clerk. His portrayal of a psychopath in the film Dushman catapulted him to fame. He won the first of his two Best Villain in a Movie awards from Filmfare and Screen Weekly as a result of this. His performance as Lajja Pandey in the film Sangharsh earned him another Filmfare award in 2000: Best Villain.
With almost two hundred films under his belt in five languages, Ashutosh has had a prolific career. Black Home, his most recent film, shows a more sinister side of Indian culture. After playing a cold-blooded psychopathic killer in the film Dushman, Rana rose to prominence in Indian cinema. In films, he usually plays bad guys, often a murderer. In addition, he had cameo appearances in a few films. He’s done his acting thing in South Indian movies. He has a reoccurring role in Mahesh Bhatt’s films. In Karan Johar’s Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, he portrayed Alia Bhatt’s father.
He has been in a wide variety of Kannada movies. He has acted alongside Vishnuvardhan, the South Indian Super Star who has starred in 220 films across five languages. As played a supporting role in Akshay Kumar’s Vishnu Vijaya, a Kannada film he appeared in. He co-starred with Vishnuvardhan in the 2005 blockbuster film Vishnu Sena, and again in the 2007 film Kshana Kshana, which also starred Aditya and Prema.
