Bharyamani Story
The word “mani” in the title reveals that Bharyamani is a story about a woman, specifically a wife, and her role in a family. The protagonist, Sameera Sherief, was born into wealth; she had no experience with poverty. Eventually, she meets a man named Seethakanth and falls in love with him. The man’s disabled father brought hardship to his impoverished middle-class family. Despite his meager means, he is the family head. He’s working tirelessly to save up for his sister’s dowry.
His kind personality and mature outlook won her over, and now they are husband and wife. But he turns down her offer because he comes from low socioeconomic status. When it comes to marriage, the girl will be torn. Her father is the one who is expected to marry her off, so he goes about finding a suitable suitor and setting everything up.
The story’s protagonist, Ishwarya, comes from a wealthy background but has her heart set on marrying Surya Narayana, a boy from the middle class. Surya Narayana is the backbone of the family and is responsible for taking care of his disabled father, fighting to provide a dowry for his newly married sister, and funding the education of his younger brother and sister. Iswarya greatly respects Surya for his honesty and willingness to work hard even if they are barely getting by.
