Bhushan Kumar was recognized by the Government of India’s Electronics and Software Export Promotion Council for his work in promoting Indian music abroad. Bhushan made the transition to filmmaking after his massive success in the music industry.

As a producer, Bhushan debuted in 2001 with the Bollywood film Tum Bin. The box office and critical success of his debut picture, Tum Bin, was as impressive.
