On December 4, 1963, Javed Jeffrey was born in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. Javed is a member of a Muslim family and practises Islam. Veteran actor and comedian Jagdeep Jaffrey is the boy’s father. Sughra Begum, his mother, was an activist in Pakistan. He has a sister, Muskaan Jaffrey, and a brother, Naved Jaffrey. In 1989, Javed wed Zeba Bakhtiar, a Pakistani actress. However, after a few years of marriage, the couple divorced.

With the release of “Meri Jung” in 1975, Jaffrey made his acting debut. He portrayed a bad character in the movie, and the crowd loved him for it. Then, he served as an anchor for the Channel V programmes “Timex Timepass” and “Videocon Flashback.” Additionally, Javed lent his voice to a number of animated characters, including “Don Karnage,” “Goofy,” and Mickey Mouse. Both children and teenagers found his comments on Pogo’s Japanese TV programme “Takeshi’s Castle” to be entertaining. He was a co-founder and judge of “Boogie Woogie,” the first dancing reality show in India.

The song “Mumbhai” from the movie “Bombay Boys” was similarly created, written, and choreographed by Jaffrey. The song quickly gained popularity and spent six weeks at the top of the charts.
He provided the voice for Charlie Anna in the 2008 animated film “Roadside Romeo.” His performance received significant praise. Michael Jackson, a singer and dancer, has even performed on stage with Jaffrey. Awarded a life membership in the Asian Academy of Film & Television’s International Film and Television Club. He served as the first International Animation & Cartoon Film Festival of India brand ambassador. Javed joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in March 2014 and ran for office from the Lucknow constituency. With 41,429 votes, he received the fifth-place vote.
