Jeo Baby Education
He enrolled in the St. Joseph College of Communication, Changanassery in Kottayam, and studied cinema there. The first media institution in Kerala to be associated with a university was this college, which was established in 2004. Jeo directed a number of videos and sketches when he was a student there. His films received praise at many college-level competitions, making Jeo well-known in South India. His films focused on issues affecting people, such as religion and human trafficking.
However, at St. Joseph’s, he encountered his first significant professional obstacle. In 2007, while Jeo was a final-year MA student studying cinema and television, he collaborated with his pals to create “Secret Minds.”

In Thalanad, a village close to Pala, Jeo Baby was born into a Christian family. While still a student, he made the short film Secret Minds, which dealt with same-sex relationships. In response to the short film’s backlash, Jeo Baby and four other students were expelled from the college.

In 2010, Jeo Baby began his career in the entertainment business by penning sitcom scripts for television. [Reference needed] He helped write the first episodes of the well-known television comedies Marimayam, “Uppum Mulakum,” and “M80 Moosa.” He made his feature film directing debut with the 2016 Malayalam film “2 Penkuttikal.” Kunju Daivam, his second film, was released that year. He directed the 2020 film Kilometers and Kilometers, which stars Tovino Thomas in the title role. Because of the COVID-19 epidemic, the film was released immediately on the Malayalam satellite channel Asianet before being made available online on Netflix. On January 15, 2021, his fourth Malayalam film, The Great Indian Kitchen, which stars Suraj Venjaramoodu and Nimisha Sajayan in the key parts, was immediately published on the OTT service “NeeStream.” Amazon Prime was the official platform for the film’s release.
