Saroja and Sanjeev Manjappa welcomed Sudeep Sanjeev, often known as Kicchaa Sudeep, into the world on September 2, 1973 in Karnataka, India. He came from a Hindu middle-class household. He pursued his B.tech in mechanical engineering at the Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering in Bengaluru to complete his schooling.

His personal life includes a 2001 marriage to Priya and a 2004 birth of a daughter they named Saanvi. Nevertheless, the pair broke up in September 2015.

He enrolled in Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering in Bangalore after finishing primary school, where he earned a B.tech in Mechanical Engineering. He played under-17 cricket for the college. He overcome his anxiety while enrolling at the Mumbai-based Roshan Taneja School of Acting.

His Telugu cinema debut was in 2012 with S. S. Rajamouli’s fantasy film Eega, in which he played the part of an industrialist who, after falling in love with an NGO worker (played by Samantha Ruth Prabhu).

In 2013, Sudeep released Maanikya, a drama that he also directed and was a replica of the Telugu film Mirchi. He appeared in Ranna, a 2015 version of the Telugu movie Attarintiki Daredi, and appeared in Baahubali: The Beginning, the highest-grossing movie of the year, in a cameo as a Persian arms dealer.

In his on-screen appearances in Vaalee, Ranga SSLC, Chandu, Nalla, Veera Madakari, Kempe Gowda, Shaanthi Nivaasa, Bachchan, and other movies like Ring Road Shubha, Mandya to Mumbai, and Raate, Sudeep can frequently be heard singing. He appeared in the 2019 Hindi film Dabangg 3, playing the antagonist to Salman Khan’s Chulbul Pandey.
