Even after casting stars like Regina Cassandra and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles, the recent film “Mareechika” didn’t even get the required buzz for its release in the theaters and the actors also didn’t promote the movie as much.
With very limited promotions and no buzz, this film failed terribly at the Telugu box office. But still was able to sell their OTT streaming rights to the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform.
It is now said that this movie will be available for streaming on the Prime Video OTT platform on June 19, 2026. Directed by Satish Kasetty, this film was produced by Rajiv Chilaka and Meghhaa Chilakka.
Viraj Ashwin, Regina Cassandrra, and Anupama Parameswaran played the lead roles. Maestro Ilaiyaraaja is the music composer, Junaid Siddiqui is the editor, and Arvind Kannabiran is the cinematographer.
