R Madhavan Upcoming Movies List: Twenty years ago, Madhavan was a lover boy, but today, he’s a talented actor whose roles in films and web series leave lasting impressions on viewers. Most recently, his portrayal of Rocketry enthralled audiences and earned him praise as a director.
Madhavan’s career as a model started in 1996. His first modelling job was for a talcum powder ad, and he earned Rs. 100. His subsequent appearances on television included guest spots on shows including “Yule Love Stories,” “Banegi Apni Baat,” and “Ghar Jamai.” Madhavan debuted in the Bollywood film industry with the 2001 release of “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein.” He had small parts in three consecutive blockbuster films, including 2006’s “Rang De Basanti,” 2007’s “Guru,” and 2008’s “3 Idiots” (2009).
In 2011, he had a leading role in the romantic comedy “Tanu Weds Manu.” They both (the film and he) did well at the box office. After that he stepped away from performing for three years before making his Hollywood return. In 2015’s “Tanu Weds Manu Returns,” he portrayed the character of Manoj “Manu” Sharma.
