Uttaran (Colors TV) Serial Cast, Timings, Story, Real Name, Wiki & More: From December 1, 2008, to January 16, 2015, Colors TV aired the Indian serial opera Uttaran on weeknights. The show has aired for 1,549 episodes, making it Colors TV’s third-longest-running Indian television series ever. In its first two seasons (2008-2009), the show stars Sparsh Khanchandani and Ishita Panchal as Ichcha and Tapasya, respectively, two young teenagers.
Later, the series jumped a generation and followed the lives of Ichcha, Tapasya, Veer, and Vansh, portrayed by Tina Datta, Rashami Desai, Nandish Sandhu, and Rohit Khurana, respectively, from 2009 to 2012. 2012 saw the departure of Sandhu and the arrival of Vikas Bhalla, who took over as number six, Avinash, the main antagonist, was performed by Rajsingh Verma.

Season 1 of Uttaran continues the tale of Iccha and Tapasya, two close friends. Principal characters from the first season include Ichcha, Tapasya, Veer, and Vansh. The second season of Uttaran continues the story of Mukta and Meethi, two friends. Meethi, Mukta, Yuvraj, Akash, and Vishnu star as the season’s primary protagonists.

Uttaran Story
Ichha lives in Mumbai with her mother Damini, a destitute widow who finds work as a maid at the Thakur Mansion. Ichha and Tapasya, Jogi’s daughter, become fast friends and treat each other like sisters. Tapasya’s outlook on Ichha shifts as a result of Sumitra’s influence. When Divya and Jogi treat Ichha like their own child, Jogi’s guilt over killing Ichha’s father, Rajendra, sparks resentment in Divya.
