Vamsam Story
Shakthi (Ramya Krishnan) is looking for her family in the original version of the story so she may reunite her mother and uncle Vetrivel Annachi (Vijayakumar) and her father and aunt Nagavalli (Vadivukkarasi). Sadly, both of Shakthi’s parents perish in an accident planned by Nagavalli, and she is left to fend for herself. After missing a lot of episodes, she decides to catch up. As of this writing, she is Mrs. Ponnuran (Sai Kiran). Later on, however, it becomes clear that since the accident, Shakthi’s twin sister Archana IAS (Ramya Krishnan), who was long ago separated from her, has been posing as Shakthi. Since Shakthi was gravely injured in the car crash that killed their parents, Archana IAS asked to meet her twin sister for the first time in the hospital and play the role of Shakthi so that she could overcome Nagavalli and keep her family safe. In the future, Archana planned to reveal her true identity. However, she is compelled to reveal that she is not Shakthi but Archana IAS after the police arrest her husband, Ponnurangam, for Archana’s murder.
At this point, Archana becomes an outsider in Shakthi’s family, and she is largely ignored by Ponnurangam and the rest of Shakthi’s relatives. They make her do things like housework. One day, Archana follows Ponnurangam’s advice and declines the position of collector in Chennai. But Dr. Madhan (Sakthi Saravanan), who had his heart set on marrying Shakthi (really Archana) instead of Bhoomika (Sandhiya), hates Bhoomika and makes numerous attempts to wed Supriya (Reshma) and subsequently Actress/ Gwaliyar Ilavarasi Myna (both played by Myna) (Sandhiya). Despite Bhoomika’s pregnancy, he is able to marry Myna. Even though Archana is expecting twins as well, Ponnurangam gives one of his girls to Solaiyamma (K.S. Jayalakshmi) and Krishna, Rukmini’s husband, at the hospital.
