Napoleon did his complete schooling from Government High School in Peruvalanallur, Lalgudi, Trichy. He then continued his higher education in St. Joseph’s College, Trichy.
Napoleon Early Life
Nepoleon, or Kumaresan Duraisamy, is a well-known Indian film actor, politician, and entrepreneur who founded and chairs the Jeevan Technologies and Jeevan Foundation. He served in the Cabinet of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment. Earlier in his life, he appeared in nearly a hundred films across the Indian languages of Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Napoleon’s father name is Duraisamy Reddiar and mothers name is Saraswathi Ammal. He had 5 siblings namely Kirubakaran, Thilagar, Mangaiarkarasi, Devi and Eswari.
Napoleon Career
In 1991, Nepoleon made his debut in the Tamil film business as the antagonist in P. Bharathiraja’s rural film Pudhu Nellu Pudhu Naathu. Soon after, he appeared in films like Ejamaan Seevalaperi Pandi, Devasuram, Ravanaprabhu, Vattaram, Hello brother, Pokkiri, and Dasavatharam in a variety of supporting roles. The part of Mundakkal Shekharan in the successful action film Devasuram is generally considered his finest acting achievement to date. Devasuram’s sequel, Ravanaprabhu, saw him returning to the role.
In 1997, for his performance in the film “ETTUPATTI RASA,” Napoleon received the Tamilnadu Government’s Best Actor Special Award.
While he now resides in Nashville, Tennessee, he was persuaded to return to the performing scene for Kidaari (2016) and later replaced Gautham Karthik as the father in Muthuramalingam (2017).
Actor Napoleon has been cast in the upcoming supernatural thriller Devil’s Night: Dawn of the Nain Rouge, directed by Sam Logan Khaleghi.
The upcoming films Seema Raja (in Tamil), AY-NA (in Malayalam), and Devil’s Night: Dawn of the Nain Rouge (in Hollywood) all star him.
