Aswin Menon, a native of Kozhikode who works for the Steel Authority of India, was the actress’s ex-boyfriend for nearly two years. They were engaged in June of 2016 in a secluded resort in Kozhikode, Kerala. Within a short time, Rajisha ended her engagement to Aswin, ostensibly because of her ambitions in the business world. The year the actress became engaged was also the year she made her film debut, and she reportedly did not want her engagement to reflect poorly on her professional life.

Rajisha Vijayan Career

Rajisha began her modelling career in 2011; however, she quit after only two years to become a TV host for Surya Music. The actress first appeared on television in 2013 with the premiere of “Susi’s code Season 1,” a show she hosted for a whole year.

At the same time, Vijayan hosted and co-hosted a number of other programmes, including a talent show called “Ugram Ujwalam,” which aired on Surya Music and Mazhavil Manorama. Rajisha’s massive fan base is mostly due to her prolific work schedule, which has seen her appear on a wide variety of shows in a relatively short period of time.

Only six months after making her TV debut, Rajisha was offered a role in a major motion picture based on her anchoring skills. But Vijayan took a two-year vacation from his career rather than accept the offer right now. Finally, in July of 2016, she made her debut in Malayalam cinema with the film “anuraga Karikkin Vellam.” Her breakout role in the movie as Elizabeth/Eli catapulted her in the limelight and won her many honours and prizes. The budding actress thereafter went on to work in more Malayalam movies.

The following year, Rajisha appeared in two movies: Georgettan’s Pooram and Oru Cinemakaaran. The financial success of both of these films was widespread. She played the lead role of a queen in the 2018 Malayali stage production of “Hand of God.”  In 2019, one of the highest-grossing movies in Mollywood was “June,” starring Vajisha once again in the lead role. Her work in the film “June” brought her widespread acclaim and enormous fame.

Thereafter, Vijayan starred in several more successful Malayal films, such as Finals (2019), Stand Up (2019), Love (2020), and Kho-Kho (2021). (2021). In 2020, the Mollywood actress played Draupathai opposite Dhanush in the blockbuster Tamil film Karan.

Filming for Rajisha’s third Tamil film, titled “Sardar,” began in May 2020 but was delayed in April 2021 due to the spread of the deadly virus known as COVID-19. The film “Ramarao on Duty,” starring the Malayali actress, will be released in Telugu theatres in March 2022.
